James Tatum, Director of Operations at Dr. Green Services, brings decades of experience and lawn care expertise to homeowners across Texas and Illinois.

Since 2019, James Tatum has served as the Director of Operations at Dr. Green Services, expertly overseeing agronomics, technician training, and daily operations. With nearly three decades of experience in the landscape industry, James brings extensive lawn care expertise and a deep understanding of the unique growing conditions across the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

Because of his hands-on background, James knows exactly how to care for the region’s most common turf types, including Bermuda, St. Augustine, and Zoysia grass. He develops customized programs that balance nutrition, timing, and seasonal strategy to keep lawns vibrant and healthy throughout the Texas climate. As a result, homeowners consistently enjoy greener, thicker lawns backed by proven science and precision.

A proud alumnus of Texas Tech University, James earned a bachelor’s degree in Plant and Soil Sciences with a focus on Horticulture and Turfgrass Management. In addition, he is licensed by both the Texas Department of Agriculture and the Illinois Department of Agriculture, maintaining the high professional standards expected of certified lawn care technicians.

In his leisure time, James enjoys a round of golf, where his passion for turf health meets his love of the sport. His dedication, leadership, and decades of field experience continue to drive the Dr. Green Services commitment to excellence in professional lawn care.

Marc Harris, Operations Manager at Dr. Green Services, brings more than 10 years of lawn care expertise to Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana homeowners.

Marc Harris serves as the Operations Manager at Dr. Green Services, where he has been a key part of the leadership team since 2020. With more than a decade of hands-on experience in lawn care and landscape management, Marc brings proven lawn care expertise to every program he oversees. He leads our Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana teams with a strong focus on quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction.

Because of his field experience and leadership skills, Marc plays a major role in training and supporting our certified lawn care technicians. He ensures every treatment—whether it’s a premium fertilization program, weed control, or pest management—is applied with precision and professionalism. Marc is passionate about exceeding customer expectations and going the extra mile to create lasting results. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing and powerlifting, combining his love for the outdoors with his commitment to discipline and growth. Under his leadership, Dr. Green Services continues to help Midwest homeowners enjoy vibrant, thriving lawns suited to the unique Chicago and Northwest Indiana climate.
